Surry Hill's eatery, 4Fourteen Restaurant opened its doors in 2012 under the guidance of Colin Fassnidge and Cara Jones. The rowdier younger sister of the Four in Hand Dining Room in Paddington, where Carla was Head Chef under Colin's mentor.


The restaurant and bar is an urban inspired, warehouse conversion with its original timbers, recycled furnishing and open kitchen.

4Fourteen has become a neighbourhood restaurant where you can bunker in for a long lunch, have a quiet wine and a nibble or sit at the chef's bar and watch the theatre of the kitchen.

The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guides Terry Durack, described 4Fourteen as interactive collusive, fast-moving and fun, which saw it receiving its fire Chef's Hat weeks after it opened its doors.

With a menu focussed on sharing, using the philosophy of nose to tail and the freshest and most sustainable ingredients. Our produce is sourced locally, to create unique dishes, served to you by friendly and knowledgeable staff, aiming to offer you a quintessential dining experience.
